I help international brands open their first stores in the United States, managing everything after the lease is signed. I currently run retail buildouts in California and New York, from landlord coordination and design approvals through permits, contractor bidding, fixture shop drawings, site supervision and opening day.
I trained as an interior and environment designer in Hong Kong and worked at Eight Inc, the firm behind the Apple Store original retailconcept. Most owner’s reps come from construction, and most designers step away once the drawings are issued. I sit between the two, so the store that opens is the store that was designed.
